CALL FOR NOMINATIONS - TECHNICAL COMMITTEE
Candidates may self-nominate (volunteer) or be nominated by a MHSA member.
The purpose of the Technical Committee (TC) is to ensure that all aspects of Medicine Hat Soccer’s Coach, Player and Referee Development Programs (as per Article 6.4.3.4 of the MHSA Bylaws) are aligned with the Technical elements of the MHSA’s Vision, Mission, Strategic Plan and Canadian Soccer Association Long-Term Player Development (LTPD).
The MHSA Board of Directors (Board) delegates, to the TC, the responsibility and authority to:
- Identify the appropriate structure required to effectively implement the MHSA Coach & Player Development Programs through the use of Volunteers and Paid Technical Staff.
- Identify the appropriate types and structures for all MHSA competitions as per LTPD.
- Identify a pathway to train, educate and mentor coaches at all MHSA competition levels.
- Implement a systematic plan to develop all players within the MHSA.
- Implement a systematic plan to develop and promote MHSA Players & Coaches into more advanced programs offered beyond the MHSA District (i.e. ASA Provincial Teams).
Committee members will be appointed to two-year terms.
