As you are aware Canada Soccer communicated with all Provincial & Territorial Members on Friday March 13th, 2020 that all soccer activities within Canada have been suspended indefinitely due to the ongoing escalation of the COVID-19 public health crisis.
In addition to this, we have made the decision to close the MHSA office to the public during this period. Staff will be available through email or phone during our regular business hours to assist where necessary. MHSA will continue following the guidelines set forth by the public health authorities, government agencies and soccer’s governing bodies.
Also, we continue to work on planning and programming and we are looking forward to the end of the pandemic crisis and reinstatement of sport and all other activities in our wonderful community. As stated in our email out to the membership yesterday, our registration is still open and you can complete this online at medicinehatsoccer.com. The only payment option available online is credit card, if you wish to pay using debit, please call in and we will assist you in completing the registration and you can then make payment once the office reopens.
Please click HERE for a FAQ page that we compiled from questions and concerns we have received from our membership since announcing the suspension of all soccer activities.
On behalf of public health, we encourage all members to follow all guidelines and work together to support quick success in reversing the crisis. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to reach out via email and phone.
Thank you for your understanding.
At this point, we are not making any changes to the outdoor season other than extending our registration deadline to March 30th. The plan is to begin as scheduled the week of April 27th. However, if the suspension of all soccer activities is not lifted by Canada Soccer at that time, then we will delay the start of our season until it is deemed safe to begin.
The health and safety of MHSA members, parents, staff, team officials and volunteers is of upmost importance. MHSA will continue to monitor the COVID-19 pandemic situation and wait for additional direction from our governing bodies. As we receive any new information that will impact our programming, we will be sure to notify all of our members via email, website, and our Facebook page.
During this time the office will remain open Mon-Fri, 12:00pm to 6:30pm with the exception of today as we will be closing at 2:30pm. However, we do ask that if you have any symptoms of illness or cold, to avoid visiting any public places including the office. For updates, please refer to our website. Also, MHSA-initiated social media posts will contain the same information as our website.

In Alberta's Referee Program, this means that all Entry Level, Mini, Outdoor Refresher and any development sessions are suspended until further notice.
